PERMANENT EYEBROWS
Frame your face with perfectly shaped eyebrows that will complement your features and take years off your appearance.
There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to eyebrows, which is why we offer a number of different permanent eyebrow treatments. Everyone is unique and we can tailor the treatment to suit your individual shape, style and colour.
The four types of permanent eyebrow treatments we offer are:
MICROBLADING
Often recommended for ladies who have little or no brow hair or just want a very natural look, mircoblading uses a manual blade to simulate hair by creating very fine hair strokes throughout the brow, following the natural growth and direction of your own hair.
COMBINATION BROWS
(BLADING AND SHADING)
This technique uses a combination of mircroblading and powdered brows to achieve a slightly darker finish than just mircroblading alone. We use a manual blade to start with to simulate natural hair growth, followed by using the machine to softly shade over the middle of the brow to give it greater definition and depth.
POWDERED BROWS
We use the machine for this technique to add an even shading to the brows. They can be shaded for a very subtle and natural enhancement or shaded darker (block colouring) to give a more defined look. This treatment is perfect for those with good natural brows wanting a smooth finish.
OMBRE BROWS
For when you want a darker tail and softer front to the brows. The tails are heavily shaded to really define them, then the colour will fade towards the front of the brows to give a lovely soft finish.
PERMANENT EYEBROW PROCEDURE – WHAT TO EXPECT
1. Before photos will be taken at the beginning of the appointment.
2. Katie will then start by using your own facial measurements to draw on your new brow shape with an eyebrow pencil. Once this is done, she will discuss the shape of the eyebrows and tweak if needed.
3. The colour is mixed and applied above the eyebrow to show you what it looks like. Once you are 100% happy with the shape and colour we have discussed, Katie will ask you to complete and sign the consent form before the procedure begins.
4. How long the procedure will take to complete depends on the style of eyebrows you have chosen. However, it is usually around 1 hour and we ask you to allow up to 2 hours for the entire appointment.
5. Once the brows are complete, Vitamin A & D cream is applied to the brows with a cotton wool bud and a photo is taken.
6. When you leave your appointment, you will be given an aftercare pack which will help guide you through the days after your treatment and what to expect.
7. The colour may seem very dark initially but this will fade up to 70% once the area has healed.
PERMANENT EYEBROW AFTERCARE
1. In the first 2-3 days following your treatment, small scabs will start to appear as the area begins to heel. Do not pick or scratch these scabs, as it will result in the pigment being pulled out.
2. The skin may feel tight and itchy, so apply the Vitamin A & D cream provided 2-3 times a day. This will also help with the healing process.
3. Once the scabs start to naturally come away, the colour may appear quite pink and faded. This is completely normal and the colour will intensify over the next 2 weeks. It is normal for the brows to appear patchy in areas, which is why a top-up appointment is required 6-10 weeks after the initial appointment.
4. The top-up appointment booked after the initial treatment will be exactly the same as the first procedure.
5. Once both eyebrow appointments have been completed, a colour boost will be required every 1-2 years to keep the brows looking fresh.
PERMANENT EYELINER
Perfectly applied eyeliner has the ability to enhance your natural beauty and really lift your eyes whilst remaining smudge-free and waterproof.
There are three different permanent eyeliner procedures available:
LASH ENHANCEMENT
This procedure adds pigment along the lash line either along the top or the bottom, which gives the look of fuller lashes. This is a more subtle treatment that sets the eyes beautifully and without looking like you have had any cosmetic work done.
EYELINER TOP
Pigment is applied to the upper lash line. This can either be a thinner, subtler line or thicker, which gives a similar effect to that which you would do yourself using an eyeliner pencil or gel.
TOP AND BOTTOM LINER
A subtle liner added to the top and bottom lash line to define the eye and mimic makeup, similar to what you would do yourself with an eyeliner pencil or gel.
PERMANENT EYELINER PROCEDURE – WHAT TO EXPECT
1. When you arrive for your treatment, a before photo will be taken and we will go over what was agreed in your consultation. Katie will ask you to complete and sign a consent form to confirm you are happy to proceed.
2. The treatment will then begin. How long the procedure will take to complete depends on the style of eyeliner you have chosen. However, it is usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes. Please allow 2 hours for the entire appointment.
3. Once the treatment has been completed, Katie will apply vitamin A & D ointment and take photos.
PERMANENT EYELINER AFTERCARE
1. During the first few days following your eyeliner treatment, your eyes might be slightly swollen. This is completely normal and a cooling gel eye mask will be provided if needed.
2. After 2-3 days, scabs will start to appear. Please do not pick or scratch the scabs, as this will result in the pigment being lost. If they feel itchy or tight, apply the vitamin A & D ointment.
3. Once the scabs start to naturally come away, the colour may appear faded. This is completely normal and the colour will intensify over the next 2 weeks. It is also normal for the brows to appear patchy in areas, which is why a top-up appointment is required 6-10 weeks after the initial appointment.
4. The top-up appointment will be booked after the initial treatment and is exactly the same as the first procedure.
PERMANENT LIPS
Permanent lip colour allows you to maintain the perfect shade of lip colour throughout the day without having to worry about reapplying.
The procedure can create a beautiful pout by naturally enhancing what you already have. It can also redefine a faded lip line, even out any asymmetries and make the lips appear larger by an extra 1-2mm by tattooing along the vermillion boarder. We use a wide selection of lip colours, so you will be sure to find the perfect shade to suit you.
KB Permanent Beauty offers four different types of lip treatments:
LIP LINER
This procedure implants colour around the outer edge of the lip to redefine the lip line. Just add your favourite lipstick to complete the look.
LIP LINER & BLUSH
A lip liner is added to the outer edge of the lip and then the colour is faded towards the centre to create a blush effect. By blending the lip colour with your own natural colour, you will achieve a natural look without needing a full lip treatment.
OMBRE LIPS
With this treatment, the lip liner will be a lot more intense around the outer edge and corners, fading into a lighter colour towards the centre of the lip.
FULL LIP COLOUR
This is a full lip colour treatment, whereby the colour is blended evenly throughout the entirety of the lips.
PERMANENT LIP PROCEDURE – WHAT TO EXPECT
1. When you arrive for your treatment, before pictures of your lips will be taken.
2. Katie will draw around your lip line with a lip pencil to create a symmetrical pout to show you what your lips will look like.
3. Once we have discussed the colour, Katie will mix the perfect shade to suit you. When you are happy with the colour and shape we have discussed, Katie will ask you to complete and sign a consent form.
4. How long the procedure takes to complete depends on the treatment you have chosen. However, it usually takes between 40 minutes and 1 hour 40 minutes.
5. Once the treatment has been completed, Katie will apply Vitamin A & D ointment and take photos.
PERMANENT LIP AFTERCARE
1. Once you have had your initial lip treatment, your lips will appear a lot brighter and bolder to begin with.
2. Over the first 2-3 days, flaking will occur. Do not pick, scratch or rub the area. The lips will feel very dry, so you will need to apply the vitamin A & D ointment on a regular basis.
3. Once the flaking has finished, the colour will appear faded as it mixes with the blood and heals under the skin.
4. Over the next 3-4 weeks, the colour will intensify
5. Your lips will continue to feel dry during this time. This is perfectly normal, so don’t worry.
6. If you are prone to getting cold sores, you must use treatment 5 days prior to the procedure and after if required.
7. It is normal for the colour to look a bit patchy, which is why a top-up treatment is required 6-10 weeks after the initial treatment.
8. If you require a stronger colour, a third session may be required.
